Privacy Policy

This policy covers the LendApp Android application (package com.qolvecompany.lendapp). Accounts can hold one of two roles — lender or borrower — chosen at sign-up, and this policy applies to both.

• Account data: your email address and password (stored hashed) if you register with email, or your name and email from Google if you sign in with Google, plus the role you choose at sign-up (lender or borrower).
• Lender profile: an optional display name and phone number, used only if you choose to make your lender profile discoverable to borrowers.
• Borrower records you create: as a lender, the contact details you enter about your borrowers — full name and optional phone, email, and notes.
• Loan and payment data: principal, interest rate, disbursement date, repayment schedule, amounts due and paid, and loan status.
• Loan requests: the amount and optional note exchanged when a borrower sends a request to a lender. Each request is visible only to the two parties involved.

App preferences such as language and theme are stored locally on your device and never uploaded to our servers.

By default, no profile is visible to other users. Lenders may opt in to being discoverable so their borrowers can find them and send loan requests. Search results expose only your display name and the last four digits of your phone number — never your email or full phone number. You can turn discoverability off at any time in your profile.

When you register a borrower, you are entering personal data about another person (their name and, optionally, phone, email, and notes). We store this data solely so you can manage your loans; we never contact your borrowers, share their details, or use them for any other purpose. As the lender, you are responsible for having your borrowers’ consent to record their contact information.

LendApp shows ads served by Google AdMob (banner and interstitial formats). To serve and measure ads, Google may collect your device’s advertising identifier (the Android AD_ID permission) and related ad-performance data, as described in Google’s advertising policies. You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of ad personalization at any time from your device’s Google settings. We do not receive your advertising ID ourselves and do not link ad data to your account.

We use your data only to:

• Provide the service: track your borrowers, loans, repayment schedules, and payments.
• Sync your data across sessions and devices through your account.
• Deliver loan requests between borrowers and the lenders they choose.
• Display ads that support the free app (see section 05).

We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.

These providers process data on our behalf, and only as needed to operate the service:

• Supabase — hosts the database and manages authentication.
• Google — Google Sign-In and AdMob advertising.

• All communication between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
• The database enforces row-level security: each user can only access their own data, and loan requests are visible only to the two parties involved.
• Passwords are stored as cryptographic hashes, never in plain text.

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can request the complete deletion of your account and all your data by writing to jeremyaldama23.2@gmail.com from your registered email address. Deleting your account removes all of your data in cascade: profile, borrower records, loans, payments, and loan requests. The process is completed within 30 days at most.

LendApp is a financial tool intended for people 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18; if we detect such an account, we will delete it.

Any changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. If a change is substantial, we will communicate it inside the app.
